Red Meditation Prayer with Crystal Singing Bowls:
|
Lord’s Prayer Words that are the Red Frequency: “Give us this day.” (our physical body allows us to have this day on earth)
Red's Fruit of the Spirit: Self-Control (in order to take care of your physical body, you need self-control – it takes discipline to care for your temple as you need to in order for it to be healthy and strong)
Music to Listen to that will Increase Your Red Energy: Traditional ethnic music, country & western, big band.
Red's Movie of the Month: Into the Wild (so many lessons in this movie, but at the end of it, the truth of the body being the vessel of life and our temple that we need to take care of.)
Red Feng Shui:
This has been something I’ve studied for over 20 years, and in fact we designed and built our last house around Feng Shui. It’s all about how energy works within your home – It is rooted in rich traditions and has been studied and applied for thousands of years - it's a super fun thing to learn about… Soooo amazing… and I find it fascinating!!!
In Feng Shui, there are many things involved, but a large part of it is adding specific colours into certain areas in your home to change the energy of your house. By following these ideas, a person can create an environment where the energy flow in your home is very balanced and positive… Your home can feel really comfortable and create a feeling of warmth. Along with paying attention to how this all works, you can bring certain things into your life as well. It applies to your health, work, and relationships. It is about feeling great in your life - feeling peaceful, happier, healthier and more fulfilled!
So if you think of your house as being cut up into the rule of thirds (like x and o's - called a bagua) with your entrance door to your home being at the bottom, adding red to the top center area is helpful to increase your fame, reputation, and how you are recognized and respected in the world. It is associated with your character and image. It makes sense as this takes courage to be who you are and not be afraid to "shine" in the world. It is a fire element energy and adding red will “spark” up this part of your life!

BODY/mind/soul - extra
My Morning recipe:
Almost all nutritional learning that I’ve done always says “eat 2 tbsp of flax/day”…
*** Why flax? Because it is super nutritious, but also because it is fibre and really helps you to keep your "pipes" clean... When your pipes are not clean, you have less energy and feel sluggish, your emotions are less stable, and you generally feel like "shit"... pardon the pun but that's kind of what you're full of... ;)
Another one is "eat as much turmeric as you can… and eat Olive Oil"… I tried everything (lots of failed concoctions!) until I created this recipe and it works great for me… it’s my daily breakfast!
Because it starts my day with "filling" me with great nutrition, I find I'm rarely "hungry" for the rest of the day really! :)
(Often people become overweight because their body is "starving"... it is literally craving and calling out for the food it requires - so even though the body has been "fed", the hunger is still there... The body is never really getting satisfied because it is not getting what it really needs!!!)
So here it is.... ENJOY!!!
½ cup Almond milk (unsweetened), 2 tbsp ground flax, 2 tbsp virgin organic olive oil, 1 tsp – 2 tsp ground organic turmeric, black pepper, and wild organic blueberries (I always have frozen ones in my fridge and I make this first thing – and it’s ready to eat by the time I’m done my meditation and exercises). In order for turmeric to be absorbed by the body, it needs to be in an oil and also with black pepper.
Variation: Add Psyllium Husks for fibre & more pipe cleaning, and/or Chia seeds also if you like - also super nutritious, very hydrating, also a great pipe cleaner & great source of omega-3 fatty acid, relieves joint pain and also skin conditions!

QUESTION TO ASK YOURSELF?: If you could do one thing for your body right now, what would that be? Why not start now?
