Art is one of those things that you don’t always realize affects the space you’re in as much as it truly does until you’ve ever moved. When there is absolutely nothing on the walls… your space feels cold & not lived in… The energy of pigment on your walls is like doing a renovation - in essence, it’s like adding a window! Light comes in with the frequency of colour in the pigments and adds warmth & energy into your space, and at the same time gives the illusion of more space! There is nothing like an original on your wall - it’s like having a live band playing verses playing a CD if you compared it to having a print. Synthetic colour from a photocopier is NOTHING like real pigment that will never fade no matter what sunlight is cast on it. You also feel the energy of the artist who painted it… which is why it’s SO crucial to know the artist so you know they aren’t an “art therapy” painter. This way, you’ll know the type of energy you’re bringing into your home! It’s so huge and yet so often overlooked in the art buying world… I’ve had so many people tell me that just looking at my artwork makes them happy. I’ve been very blessed to know that my art adds a great vibe to the spaces they end up hanging in.
